Comfort Colors® — The Heavyweight

Comfort Colors is the gold standard for premium garment-dyed tees. If you've ever owned a vintage band shirt that just kept getting better with age — there's a good chance it was Comfort Colors.
This is the tee we use most. It's our brand's flagship feel: heavy, substantial, broken-in from the very first wear.

Why We Chose It
- Garment-dyed for richer color. The entire shirt is sewn first, then dyed — which softens the fabric and gives it that lived-in tone from day one.
- Heavyweight at 6.1 oz. Real substance. This tee has weight in your hand. It feels like something.
- USA-grown cotton, sewn with USA cotton thread. Sustainably and fairly grown, with full traceability through the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol.
- Pre-shrunk during the garment-dye process. Almost no shrinkage at home — the fit out of the box is the fit you keep.
- Eco-conscious dye process. Uses 50% less water than traditional pigment dye processes.

Bella + Canvas® - The Modern Fit
Soft where it counts. Sharp where it has to be.
Bella + Canvas is the modern retail-fit tee that brought boutique-quality feel into print-on-demand. Lighter, more tailored, and engineered for crisp print quality on detailed designs.
This is the tee you'll see on select designs — particularly some of our earlier collections and modern type-driven designs where print sharpness matters most.

Fabric Composition by Color
Bella + Canvas uses different fabric blends to create their full color range. Heather and CVC colors include a small amount of polyester — that's what creates the signature flecked, vintage-look color depth and adds structure. Here's the full breakdown so you know exactly what you're getting:
